Jamie Carpenter

President

Jamie Carpenter is the founder and president of Moss Carpenter Construction Company. He is originally from Greenville, MS. Jamie’s introduction to the construction industry began in high school, working during the summers on commercial construction projects. He soon recognized that the construction industry was his calling and earned a degree in Construction Management from Mississippi State University. Throughout his career, Jamie has had the unique opportunity to work in several sectors of the industry including, tenant infill, new commercial ground up, heavy civil, and historical renovations. Jamie oversees all operations of the company, including business development, bidding, architect/client relations, project management, and project close out.

With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, Jamie is not only passionate about his job but is passionate about the Moss Carpenter team as well. “We look for talented people, and not just talent in our industry. While our group has an impressive construction background, what we look for is drive, passion, character, and integrity. If we find someone with these qualities, we hire them. I’m extremely proud of our team, there is not a group around who has more professionalism, experience, and true devotion to exceeding what our clients expect of us.”

Jamie and his wife Emily have four children, Elizabeth, Martha, Amy and West. He is active in his church and community, enjoys history, reading, hunting, tennis, and spending as much time as possible with his family.

Keith O’Dell

Vice-President

With two decades of commercial construction experience, Keith O’Dell offers a complex understanding of the construction process. He has vast experience in multi-family, mixed use and historic renovations. From pre-construction through completion, he understands the value of strong communication, good stewardship and quality execution, which readily exceed the client’s expectations.

Keith is originally from West Virginia and earned a degree in Architecture from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Since moving to Memphis soon after graduation, Keith developed a great love for Memphis and the surrounding areas. This ignited a passion to see the city prosper and he takes great pride in the numerous historical renovation projects that he was able to lead.

Keith and his wife JP have three children, Foster, Monroe, and Griffen. Keith and JP are active members of Independent Presbyterian Church where they collectively teach youth Sunday school classes. Keith loves to fish, root for his beloved Vols and spend as much time as possible watching his kids grow up.
